SQA Engineer - Automation Testing

Role

SQA Engineer - Automation Testing

MUST Have :-

• At least 1 to 2 years of Selenium experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working within an Agile environment.
• Understanding of Agile SDLC.
• At least 1 year of SQL, specifically joining tables and writing basic queries.
• Moderate experience in .Net / C#.
• Candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills.
• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities :-

• Automated testing of new releases of web applications and mobile Applications
• Creating automated tests using the appropriate test automation tool preferably Selenium and Appium.
• Preparing and executing test plans along with all other aspects of software testing.
• Managing regression tests using test management systems.
• Identifying, logging and tracking of software defects using Jira.
• Interpret functional requirements and translate them into test requirements.
• Hands on approach

Secondary Responsibilities :-

• Identifies & implements best practices / trends in the industry and through experiences which has an impact on cost and productivity.
• Provides guidance on technology changes and identifies / drives pilots to assess performance testing feasibility on applications developed on new technologies.

• Defines / improves on standards with focus on tool rationalization, skill development and provide technical consultation.
• Develop and propagate best practices for designing and coding for performance
• Designs frameworks/tools based on change in technology.

Good To Have :-

• Create and maintain business processes, workflows and plugins. (JavaScript)
• Understanding of working in DevOps environment.
• Exposure to Dynamics 365
